Terms and Conditions for Tutors (Tuition Job Process & Payment Policy)

Application & Profile Submission

If you find any tuition listed on the Home Tutor Finder channel or group near your location and wish to apply for it, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Take a screenshot of the tuition post you are interested in.

2. Send the following documents and details to the official Home Tutor Finder WhatsApp number ( +91-9631069954):

   • The screenshot of the tuition post.

   • Your updated résumé (CV).

   • A short self-written introduction in both Hindi and English, written in your own handwriting (photo or scanned copy).

This information helps us verify your profile and present you professionally to parents.

Verification & Parent Approval

• After receiving your details, the Home Tutor Finder team will contact you to verify your information and discuss the tuition.

• Once verification is complete, your tutor profile will be forwarded to the parent/student for review.

• If the parent approves your profile, you will be officially assigned that tuition.

Payment Options (Choose One)

After your profile is approved and tuition details are shared, you will have two payment options to choose from.

Option 1 – Advance Percentage Plan

• You need to pay 20% of the total tuition fee + ₹200 service charge (one-time) in advance at the time of receiving the tuition details.

• This payment is made only once per tuition and ensures your booking is confirmed.

Option 2 – Pay After First Payment Plan

• You need to pay ₹200 as a service charge in advance.

• Once you receive payment from the parent, you will then pay 50% of your first month’s tuition fee to Home Tutor Finder.

• This option is also one-time only, per new tuition assignment.

Note: All payments must be made through the above official UPI ID only. Any direct or personal payments will not be considered valid.

Leaving a Tuition / Discontinuation Policy

If at any point you wish to leave or discontinue a tuition assignment, you must:

• Inform Home Tutor Finder at least 7 days in advance before stopping your classes.

• This allows proper communication with the parent and smooth handover.

Failure to provide advance notice may affect your future assignments.

Refund Policy

Home Tutor Finder follows a transparent and fair refund policy:

Condition	Refund Percentage
a. If the tuition does not start at all, you will get a 100% refund.	100%
b. If the tuition ends after 1 day, you will get an 80% refund.	80%
c. If the tuition ends after 3 days, you will get a 50% refund.	50%
d. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days after verification.	7 days
e. The service charge (₹200) is non-refundable in all cases.	Non-refundable

Refunds are applicable only when payment is made through official HTF channels.

Important Rules & Guidelines

• Do not contact parents directly without official confirmation from Home Tutor Finder.

• All communications, demo scheduling, and payment discussions must go through the HTF team.

• Once you accept a tuition, you are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, and regularity in your classes.

• Failure to follow process or unethical conduct may lead to profile suspension or permanent deactivation.
